American Beauty

 

  The movie, American Beauty is Existentialism movie. Existentialism is a person who questions life. They always need to find the meaning of life and ask themselves whats the point of living if were all going to die.
  The movie American Beauty was made in 1990. American Beauty is mostly about a elderly man and his depression with himself and his life. Lester, the main character was a father and a husband. In the movie he would always repeat himself saying "I'm already dead".

  Lester had barely any interests in his wife or daughter. His wife was too involved in her job and his daughter hated him. He was depressed and always questioned himself what the point of life was. Lester's daughters new "friend" Angela, caught his attention. He started to feel lust for her, and she was the reason why he changed his body and life. Lester then started to feel as if he was free. He quit his job, found a hobbie and always woke up with a smile on his face. His perspective on life changed and he started to actually live his life with joy. The ending of the movie was very unexpected and confusing. As soon as Lester started to actually enjoy his life he was killed. Lester lived a very unusual life. America Beauty is a Existentialist movie because of the life Lester lived and how he always question his life.

Movies is What Teenage life is about !

            Movies became very advanced over the years. From black and white, to sound and color, to high definition and great picture. Movies today are one of the most popular things to watch all over the world. People go to movie theaters to watch five star movies and new realizes. There are many movies throughout history which made a large difference in the world. The most famous, artistic, well known still today is Charlie Chaplin. Charlie Chaplin was the one to change the way movies worked forever. Because of Charlie Chaplin and his amazing significant work we are now able to watch such advanced movies. Charlie Chaplin didn't only preform in his movies but also directed and produced each film making his pieces of music fit into the genre of the movie/film. He also was the one who advanced motion pictures and turn entertainment not only into a movie but into art too. Charlie Chaplin invented his movie productions in the early 1900's.

       I couldn't have been happier with the technology we have today too allow producers to create great movies. I think movies are one of the best way of entertainment. Whenever I'm bored at home or when I want to have some popcorn I turn to movies. Movies are a persons best friend. Movies always change the mood of the viewer. There are so many different genres to choose from. There are scary movie, romance movies, action movies and many more. I love being able to pick from different types of movies depending on my mood. Movies carry art and a lot of talent. Actors, directors and producers work extremely hard to produce and create movies with an entertaining plot and great picture.

Hockey is Cruel yet A Very Artistic Sport!

      Sports have a really big form of art. Each sport takes talent and a lot of  hard work. I love all sports but my most favorite is Hockey. I'm a huge hockey fan and I enjoy every part of the sport, from great puck passes, to outstanding goals and the huge fights that break makes out. Everything about this sport me ecstatic and makes me want to watch it more and more.

   Hockey is a form of art. Some players are better then others and some aren't so well known. Hockey is related to humanities because it takes talent to create such a talent. Hockey season is soon coming to an end which makes me depressed. My favorite team the, New York Islanders aren't so well known because their standings are in second to last place and most likely not making to the playoffs. Although the team which I route for are not in first place in the standings, it still makes me like them because of the great skill some of the players have. Some players on the team are very young and are rookies. The way the players play the game shows a lot of art and technique. Each player has their signature move or and goals they score. Its always entertaining for me when I watch such amazing players with outstanding different talents. 

  

  I think all sports are part of humanities because it takes a lot of talent and different skills to play any game. Hockey is by far my favorite because I think skating while holding a hockey stick in your hand and trying to get a puck past the goalie is a very hard task.

     If you ask me, dancing is a very famous way of art. Its entertaining and fun. Dancing is known all around the world. I believe dancing brings many people together. People love to dance and for some, dancing is even their life. I think dancing is related to humanities because dancing is a form of art. Many people dance whether its their job, or if their doing it for fun. Dancing relates to humanities because it lets dancers express their emotions and feelings through body language. Dancing is also art because it shows creativity.

     There are many different kinds of dances. One of my favorite is Ballroom dancing. It's very elegant and gorgeous the way the dancers move their body. One of the most watched famous, live show is Dancing With The Stars. The first live episode aired on Monday, March 23. Dancing with the Stars is a show were people compete to determine who is the best ballroom dancer. This show has been famous for the past twelve years and every year they get more and more viewers. This show is watched by everyone in the world. The different styles of ballroom and music grasps peoples attention. The professional dancers use art in their dancing routines. The way the dances are shown is with art. Art is used in their dances by using very vivid body structure and elegant body positioning. Ballroom dancing is an example of how art is used in dancing because of the movement of the body.

   There are also many different types of dances which express art. These dances are known as hip-hop, break dancing and even ballet. All these dances have something in common whether its the same steps or moves.They all share body movement, structure and a different element of art.

Televisions contributed to the world in many significant ways. I believe the invention of television united all different parts of the world. In my eyes, if T.V's were never invented I think I'd loose my mind from boredom. Television show's all different things, from kids shows to kids movies, to adult shows and adult movies. T.V's also informs us on our important news, and keeps us updated. If T.V's weren't created the world would be a very quite place.

Televisions made a large impact of today's world. It's ability to enhance such great sound, color, and picture is very important.The invention of television is related to humanities because of the great improvements over the years. Art in sound, color and picture inspired the world of a better way of life, using the source of technology. Televisions increased it's art over years of study and effort in making it more realistic. It changed the world from black and white films to color films. It also increased its ability to carry out sound.

If you ask me, I think televisions are one of the most important inventions out there. Being a teenager all I do when I'm home is watch t.v shows and all different kinds of movies. It also keeps me informed on news all over the world. The invention of the television is what keeps the world together and united.

  On February 13 2011, the Grammy Awards celebrated their 53rd annual anniversary. The Grammies is a live show which nominates famous movies, artists, actors and actresses of the year. Personialy, I love watching the Grammies because it lets me know what's hot and whats not. It shows viewers, which musicians were ranked highest in the music industry and it shows performances from all different singers. For me its entertaining because its always interesting to see who and how performers take the stage.
  My favorite part during the Grammy awards this season was the performance made by, well-known rap artist named Eminem. Eminem was awarded for having the best albumof the year called Recovery and I couldn't agree more. He is by far my favorite rapper. He always knows how to grasp my attention with his music. He relates his music with his life. He makes connection's with many people all over the world, including me. Many people are inspired by him because in Eminem's music, many people can tell that Eminem's life wasn't always easy but he made the best of it and now hes known all over the world. I was really thrilled when I found out that he was nominated an award for best album of the year.
